Pastor Kelvin is teaching the children to look after the house and garden. They are working in groups of 3 as there are 21 children, in 7 groups.
There are 7 days in the week and 7 colours in the rainbow. They are both special numbers in the Bible, 7 and 3.
The children are cutting the grass, weeding and looking after the hens. They clean and sweep, wash the dishes and pots and help with food preparation and serving each other.
Pastor Kelvin is teaching them to pray and praise God and they are learning to sing in English as well as Swahili. He is teaching them to read and write as well. We are taking some books for reading and writing, pencils and crayons as well as maths games and bats and balls.
