Pastor Tony has spent around 3 months in Tanzania and has much to celebrate with the water project going from strength to strength. The availability of clean water is a huge issue. Bottled water is available for those who can afford it - but most can't . So by repairing the standpipes and maintaining them regularly we are saving lives literally.
The villagers are so grateful and are so excited when Pastor Tony is visiting - he has brought them the message of the Good News of Jesus and has demonstrated it by bringing them clean water to drink . We now have 5 standpipes in the area working really efficiently and have Lenny to thank for this work, and our church here for responding. When I tell people about what we are doing in the Name of Jesus, people want the opportunity to join in. So thank you to those who have joined with our mission, knowing that every penny goes directly to supporting the water project. If you feel inspired, then please contact me through the website and I will tell you how you can join in. Thank you in advance for this.

During June 2015, Pastor Tony and Joy Orwell visited the Water Project in Kulongwe and learned that there had been no deaths from cholera since the standpipes were repaired. A cause for great rejoicing. The next challenge is to repair more standpipes in other villages to prevent more deaths.
STOP PRESS AS OF DECEMBER 2015 . This water well was not working when we visited this village on the way to Kulongwe in June 2015. We told the villagers that as soon as we had funds we would repair it. Thank you to the generous donor who made this possible and for Lenny who carried out the repair for us. God Bless.
Joy Orwell and Pastor Kelvin with the well not working in June 2015.
