Lake Victoria Disability Centre at Musoma
Pastor Tony was led by God to this amazing project in Musoma during his visit to Tanzania in February and March 2012. It was totally inspirational to see the work going on as disabled young people were taught skills of sewing and screenprinting to enable them to produce beautiful finished garments and cushion covers to be sold in the shop. Another group of people work on using trikes to help them to become more mobile. The Centre recently bought a piece of ground and they were busy building a new suite of rooms. Many of the bricks bear the names of the partner organisations who are raising funds and providing volunteers to support the project. While Pastor Tony was there, he was invited to a ceremony to mark the laying of the Foundation stone. He then planted a Mango tree on behalf of Settle Christian Fellowship to show that we too hope to become fruitful partners in this work and as a Fellowship "Break new ground!"
